Speed Check Hub

Internet speed test

Measure this connection.

ServerWaitingM-Lab route

Ready when you are.

The test runs through Measurement Lab NDT7. Speed Check Hub does not store the values you type into local tools.

Results can vary with Wi-Fi, device load, route, and network congestion. Run it again when the path feels unstable.

Read the result by task

Streaming and downloads lean on download speed. Calls, uploads, and live streams expose upload speed. Games and remote work often reveal latency first.

Test cleaner

Pause heavy transfers, test more than once, compare the problem room with a near-router test, and note what else was using the connection.

Do not chase one number

A speed test is a momentary measurement. Use it with symptom notes and repeat tests when results swing sharply.

Future middle content ad placementReserved away from the speed test control surface.

Common questions

Is this a real internet speed test?

Yes. The test uses Measurement Lab NDT7 infrastructure and a Speed Check Hub interface for download and upload throughput.

Does this site save my speed test result?

The local tools do not save inputs. The live test starts only after you accept the M-Lab data policy for its measurement infrastructure.

Why can results change between runs?

Device load, Wi-Fi conditions, network congestion, server path, and other traffic can change a measurement.
